Police Blotter: Bridge Halts Car in Single Vehicle Accident

A motor vehicle crashed into the in the early morning of July 17. No one was injured in the crash and the bridge was not damaged. The male driver, 21, of Richmond Heights was cited for failing to maintain reasonable control of his vehicle.
Disturbance: A healthcare worker and a family member had a verbal disagreement at a Gates Mills Blvd. residence in the early afternoon of July 19. Officers spoke with both parties, and the situation was resolved without further incident.
Stick up: A student and his father filed a theft report on the morning of July 21. They stated that between July 12 and 17, two of the student’s hockey sticks were stolen from the Gilmour Academy locker room.
