Police Blotter: Evidence Left Behind After Car Is Covered with Condiments

Someone put ketchup and mustard on a car parked on Marnell Avenue, a caller reported at 7:59 a.m. June 28. Police found empty ketchup and mustard bottles on a path behind Lander Elementary School.

A Marsol Road resident told police at 11:08 p.m. June 28 that he came home to find his apartment door had been kicked in and his flatscreen TV was gone.

A caller at 12:41 a.m. June 29 said a car slipped over on its side and into a pole at Ridgebury and Washington boulevards. Police said the driver seemed to be OK and the accident occurred in Mayfield Village, so that police department was called to respond.

A man called police at 5:14 a.m. June 28 and said he wife was in their Mayfield Road apartment with another man and that man threatened him with a gun. The wife told police that they separated and the husband moved out a few weeks ago. Police told the husband not to return to the apartment.

A man and woman were going door to door selling insulation at 7:15 p.m. on Washington Boulevard. Police told them they needed to apply for a permit.
