Police Blotter: Man Manipulates Drug Prescriptions
Information supplied by the Mayfield Heights Police Department

The office manager of a pediatric medical facility said the father of one of their patient is getting prescriptions for a schedule 2 drug and then altering them to have them filled immediately in the evening of July 13. With the amount of prescriptions written, they requested a report.
Robbed at gunpoint: A Cleveland man said he was robbed at gunpoint at the Marsol Towers Apartments in the early morning of July 14 and reported it later that afternoon. He said he was robbed on the third floor.
Phony account: A Summit Dr. resident said someone falsely opened an account in his name the morning of July 12. He said money was accepted from an online credit card company, and it had other fraudulent charges made to the account.

Bullying: A Commonwealth Ave. woman said her 10-year-old son was pushed off a bike by an 18-year-old who lives across the street on the evening of July 12. The mother said she wanted no other action taken other than advising the young man of his transgression.
Wires down: A truck pulled out of the lot of a Maplewood Rd. apartment building and knocked down a utility pole and snapped the wires attached to it during the late morning of July 13. A resident at the building called it in and noticed the broken poll and wires lying on the ground. Police requested that two residents move their cars.

Caught stealing: A man, 18, and boy, 16, were seen loading tires into a U-Haul truck in the back parking lot of the Marshall Ford Lincoln dealership the evening of July 15. The pair told officers they had permission to take the tires, but police checked with the store and learned they didn’t.
Card stolen: A Mayfield Ridge woman reported her credit card number was stolen and used for purchases at the Lowes Home Improvement store in Huber Heights on the morning of July 14.
Bad check: The Marshall Lincoln Ford dealership on Mayfield Rd. reported receiving an $11,000 check that was found to be fraudulent on July 13.
DUI: A driver was arrested for a DUI at the intersection of Longwood Dr. and Radnor Rd. on the evening of July 14.
