Police Blotter: Man's Car Meets Traffic Sign

A 46-year-old driver from Willowick crashed into a traffic sign on Mayfield Rd. in the early afternoon of July 1. Police said it was a single vehicle accident, and no one was injured. The man was cited for failing to maintain control of his vehicle.

Son found: A Timberidge Trail resident said his 16-year-old son had run away from home in the early morning of June 26. An officer subsequently located his son at a neighbor’s house.

Credit card fraud: A Chagrin Road resident said during the past two months, an unknown person or people made unauthorized charges to her credit card in the early afternoon of June 26. The woman filed a fraud report.
