Police Blotter: Police Catch A Repeat Shoplifter at Kohl's

Police captured one of two men who shoplifted at on two separate days with both getting away the first time on July 21, but with one getting caught the second time around on the afternoon of July 23.
One of them was captured and taken into custody, while an officer unsuccessfully attempted to nab the other one on foot. The man was wearing a white T-Shirt and carrying a backpack.
Both are estimated to be between 18- and 20-years old.

The previous Saturday, the two men both left the store after security thought they had shoplifted. The Lyndhurst Police also attempted to locate them. The authorities checked in and but were unable to find them.
Skipping out on a bill: Five juveniles attempted to skip out on paying their bill at the morning of July 24. The group of three boys and two girls left the restaurant with the boys leaving on foot and the two girls driving away in a red Toyota Camry. All five headed west on Wilson Mills Rd., and police caught up to them at Highland Place with the three boys in the car. One of the girls subsequently went back into the restaurant and the bill was paid. The restaurant didn’t want to press charges, but the youngsters were told not to return.

Bad crash: A serious motorcycle accident in the I-271 express lane sent one rider to with head injuries in the early afternoon of July 22. The rider was without a helmet. Several motorcycles were involved in the accident with one striking the median wall.
Animal death: A silver Dodge struck a deer that was still alive on Wilson Mills Rd. while the call was made to police the afternoon of July 22. But upon an officer’s arrival, the deer passed away.
Scavenger found by police: A man was charged with scavenging without a permit after a caller saw him picking through garbage on Charles Place the evening of July 22. He had been warned six previous times in the past from 2009-2011. The man had been driving a yellow vehicle, and police stopped him at the intersection of Highland Rd. and Meadowland Dr.
More at Kohl’s: One of two women who had been shoplifting at was arrested the afternoon of July 23. Another woman was arrested at the store for shoplifting on the evening of July 26.
More shoplifting: An 18-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting at the the evening of July 24.
