Police Blotter: Shoplifter Caught with Drug Testing Kit

The manager of a SOM Center Road business chased a shoplifter out of the store at 7:34 p.m. March 22 and caught up with the boy at a nearby restaurant. The boy stole a drug testing kit and gave it back and took off running.

A caller complained that juveniles were running around and playing at 12:30 a.m. March 28 in the area of Stratford Court. Police talked to the juveniles and said they complied.

A woman said an Xbox game was taken from her apartment at 10:32 a.m. March 27 on SOM Center Road. She decided not to file a report and said she would handle the situation as she sees fit.

A road rage incident was reported at 2:25 a.m. March 27 on Aintree Park Drive. Police said the other car involved in the incident did not stop.

A rescue squad was called at 12:05 p.m. March 26 for a 43-year-old man who fell off a roof and had a bone sticking out of his leg on Ridgebury Boulevard. The man was taken to Hillcrest Hospital.

An Eastgate Drive woman called at 1:25 p.m. March 25 because a raccoon was trying to get into the overhang of her house. Police said the animal warden was contacted.
