Police Blotter: Woman Charged With Theft, Forgery

A Mayfield Heights woman, 42, was taken into custody and charged with theft and forgery in the late morning of June 20. A Berkshire Rd. resident made a complaint on June 15 that said an unauthorized person had accessed her checking account.
Truck damages property: A truck pulled into a Hillcreek Lane resident’s driveway and damaged a planter the evening of June 19. The truck then left the area and an officer searched but couldn’t find the vehicle.
Vase knocked over: A Woodstock Rd. resident said she arrived home to find an outdoor vase knocked over and the door to her residence unsecured in the early afternoon of June 23. Officers checked the residence and found that nothing was out of place or missing.
