The Yard Is Back in the ‘Backyard’ at the Rustic Grill
'Your dream backyard bar' opens Memorial Day Weekend
CLEVELAND – The Yard – built around the idea of your dream backyard family bar – is back for a second season in the “backyard” at the Rustic Grill at StoneWater in Highland Heights. It’s a great place to enjoy a cold beer or a selection of favorite summer cocktails, and a rotating food menu as well as live music.
The Yard opens for summer fun over Memorial Day Weekend and will be open Friday and Saturday evenings through the fall. Hours are 5 to 11 p.m., with live music from 7 to 10 p.m. each night.
It’s like a friend's backyard. No need to call ahead – just stop by for a quick hello or linger awhile. A new fire pit, mixed patio sets, picnic tables, high tops and bar seats provide atmosphere and accommodate groups, couples, the kids, the family dog or even an opportunity to fly solo.

“The Yard has become the perfect summer hangout,” said Whitney Neidus, General Manager. “It’s wonderful for drinks before dinner, after golf, after dinner or before you head home or a great place to enjoy an outdoor backyard dinner. Families, neighbors, visitors and dogs are all welcome and right at home.”
Entertainment kicks off Friday, May 27, with Light of 2 Moons. We have also added an array of countless games for the adults and kids. A rotating schedule of featured food begins the same day with RG Food featuring Smokehouse Night, offering pulled pork sliders, smoked brisket, mac ‘n cheese, hot dogs, cornbread and chili garlic cucumber salad. We will also launch our new summer tastings and samplings of some of the best local and craft beers and wines. We kick off the summer that evening with Royal Docks Brewing Company Beer Truck from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Look for a great summer lineup that includes music from Becky Boyd, 2nd Avenue Acoustic Duo and Sazzle, food trucks from La Fiesta, MOD Bites, Dawg Bowl and Coltman Pasta and tastings from Onda Tequila Seltzer Tasting Table, Meiomi Wines, Great Lakes Brewing, Platform Brewing and Sibling Revelry Brewery Beer.
