Be A Santa To A Senior Returns To Mentor
'Be A Santa To A Senior' will run from November 8th through December 8th at the Mentor Municipal Center.

MENTOR, OH - From the City of Mentor: The “Be a Santa to a Senior” program returns to the Mentor Municipal Center for the third year.
The gift giving tree will be placed in the lobby from November 8th through December 8th to collect for seniors in need. This wonderful program is a way we can give back to our community by providing not only gifts, but much needed human contact to our senior citizens in need.
Once the tree goes up, simply pick an ornament, buy the item listed, and return it to the front desk or to the police records room. The gift wishes included simple items such as new slippers, crossword puzzles, warm blankets, and stamps.

Over 1,500 gifts have been wrapped and delivered to seniors in Lake Count because of this program over the past three years. Half of these gifts were donated through the Mentor Municipal Center tree.
