American Rules, Not Rulers!

I am frustrated with ‘drive-by headlines’ and hollow sound bites. Where is the news, the reality, the perspective? The times in which we live are riddled with non-news, prefabricated and situational stories, scripted and spoon-fed, intended to shape the ‘public psyche’. 

The themes being peddled into our brains through repetition and witty ads and slogans are obvious to me but then I have been in marketing and advertising most of my life.

For the average, everyday working-class person, just trying to tackle each day, well, the propagandizing is happening to them without their full awareness. And that is wrong in my book.

Of what themes do I speak? Polar bear charity, human capital, clean energy, renewable energy, alternative energy, climate change, global economy, global community, sustainable environment, collaborative, collective, social networking, social marketing, go green, shared world, fair share, community organization, identity theft, equal outcome, social responsibility, social justice, equal social justice for all, shared sacrifice, collective salvation, global crisis, paperless -- these terms and themes are prevalent in our society right now.

They are being marketed to our subconscious level of awareness through the proven tactics of propaganda. These themes are flawed by nature’s law of reality. What is real and present is camouflaged and stoked by avariciousness over logic and sense.   

One’s real personal identity, the meaning and significance of it, is being assaulted by the conveniences of automated ‘random access memory’ creating a parallel paradigm. We are being ‘thought for’. The complete human operating system, which I define as heart, mind and soul, and which should have a solid, anchored foundation, is under siege.

It’s ‘group greed’ over personal creed. It’s global over American. Get in the soup line of the world and stop with the American Exceptionalism thing. What makes you so special anyway? Why? Can you see it? Can you feel it? Are you American? Can you smell a rat? 

The birth of The United States of America took many ‘group-less’, thankless years of individual blood and their loved ones’ tears to accomplish. To compare the real sacrifice given at Valley Forge, to the ‘plight’ in the mind of an ‘Occupy Wall Streeter’ is inconceivable, against true American Heritage and nothing short of grossly disturbing. 

The birth of the United States of America occurred in spite of the rest of the world, because of the rest of the world, against the rest of the world. We are the land of the free man. Each free to rule himself through the trials of life without the heavy hand of a ruler.

We think for ourselves, do for ourselves, take care of ourselves. A mere few hundred years ago we agreed on our rules to live by, in harmony with each other. The United States Constitution is what was wrought. 

We are in a time of tension between irresponsible mob-driven democracy and representative republic because our system is being controlled by confused, non-believers in The American Creed. There are control-hungry people attempting to rewrite the rules, without our consent!

These demigods have elevated themselves to ruler status for selfish-interest instead of abiding by their oath to uphold the sanctity of each American’s interest in personal liberty outlined in our rules, The United States Constitution. If the rest of the world could comprehend that the Representative Republic form of government has enabled and encouraged the prosperity-friendly atmosphere in our country, there would be more likelihood of global-wide prosperity too.

And the rest of the world would also realize that, in America we have rules, not rulers!
