Check out Dottie, a beautiful senior Pit Bull, looking for a loving home!
Dottie, a 9-year-old Pit Bull mix, is available for adoption here at Lake Humane Society. Dottie was surrendered to our shelter back in early March because her owner could no longer afford her care. Dottie is a very sweet dog who has lots of love to give.
For many senior dogs, it's very hard to adjust to shelter living. Dottie had a rough time at first as she was very anxious and had separation anxiety, but now she is a lot more comfortable and loves the staff and volunteers. Dottie is looking for that special family who will give her love and affection and a home with a yard to live out her golden years.
