My daughter and I like to make gifts in bulk. She makes them for the ladies in the family: aunts, cousins, Grandmas. I make them for friends and teachers. The beauty of making a gift in bulk is that it saves time. I won't share what we are making this year, yet. But take a look at what Annie made last year.
Inspired by American Girl Magazine, she took foam cones and wrapped them with interesting yarns, (we have a lot around the house), pearl strands, berries. She found unusual paper clips, bent one end open and poked it in the top of the tree. She added a message, but for the recipient, it could be used to hold a holiday photo.
For her friends, she made locker magnets. Another great idea, especially for teens. She selected photos and printed images that were unique to each friend. You can use washed bottle caps or find some at the craft store. Modge podge your image, add a magnet and you have a great gift!
