Okay, so here's the deal: I made this fun little video last year with my little brothers and sisters.
I wrote it in the summer while on my break time as a lifeguard, and my love for movies propelled me to produce the project.
This is my first attempt at filmmaking -- everyone's a critic. But keep in mind a few things while you criticize my far from flawless short film:

It is a fake movie trailer, something I kind of have a strong interest in thanks to a trailer I saw on Youtube once about a fake Where's Waldo? movie.
I was honestly more interested in the directing of the movie rather than the overall quality of the project itself. Dynamic camera angles/tricks were what I was going for (particularly between 2:10 and 2:30;) I found myself climbing trees and hanging over branches almost too often.

This may not exactly be top-shelf trophy case material, but when looking at what I had to work with -- a camera that was "picture first, video second" priority and prepubescent lead actors -- it ain't half bad.
My siblings didn't really understand that it takes longer than 20 seconds to shoot a 20-second clip, and they complained when every two seconds I would shout jokingly, "Continuity is key!" To put it simply, they were a pain in the neck.
But I could call that training for the future, as I am guaranteed to work with one or 20 more actors that are prideful and pouty.
So check out my video, I hope you like it and feel free to comment about what you think!
P.S. I have finished writing a 15-minute short suspense/thriller temporarily titled "The Neighbor" -- that has no dialogue at all -- coming soon. I know it sounds weird, but I've never been more proud of anything in my entire life. That's right, I'm more proud of that than I am of my successful birth.
