The Cavaliers Blow Out The Pistons 128-96

LeBron James posted a triple double as the Cavaliers routed Detroit.

Lebron James posted 16 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 assists in only 28 minutes for his 10th triple-double this season as the Cleveland Cavaliers overpowered the Detroit Pistons 128-96 on Tuesday. He has four this month and three in his last four games.

Cavaliers hot shooting buried Detroit early. The Cavaliers made their first 10 3-pointers and started by hitting 22 of 25 shots for a 60-33 lead early in the second quarter.

The Cavaliers, who had lost four of five, did what they wanted against the Pistons on Tuesday. Kyrie Irving scored 26 points on 9-of-14 shooting. Iman Shumpert scored a season-high 18 points. The Cavaliers had seven different players surpass double figures in scoring.

Larry Sanders, signed by the Cavaliers on Monday, already has played twice as many minutes as Andrew Bogut, when he played the final 1:58 and missed his only shot attempt while recording two fouls.

Tobias Harris led the Pistons with 17 points. Andre Drummond had 14 rebounds and Marcus Morris scored 13 points for the Pistons, who fell to 33-34 after Tuesday's loss and are seventh in the East but are in a tight battle with several teams for a playoff spot.

COMING UP FOR THE CAVS: The Cleveland Cavaliers(43-22) will host the Utah Jazz on Thursday night. Cleveland will try to avenge a loss in their last match up, when they lost 100-92 on January 10th.
