Children Can Compete in Art Contest at Wildwood Fine Arts Festival
Kids as old as 14 can bring their best work to the festival and compete

The city of Mentor, Community Arts Commission and Creative Artists Association are hosting a children's art contest as part of the .
Children as old as 14 can bring their artwork with the theme "Summer in Mentor."
Sculptures are not permitted in the contest. However, any two-dimensional art from 8-by-10 inches to 16-by-20 inches will be allowed.

On the back of their artwork, children should list their name, their parents' names, their age, address, phone number, media and title of their work. Each child may submit only one work of art.
Children will compete in three age brackets: 6 and younger; 7 to 10; and 11 to 14.

Kids need to submit their artwork by noon the day of the festival, June 26, which is at . They should bring their submissions to the Creative Artists Association raffle booth.
Judging will take place at 2 p.m. Artists must be present to win and all art must be picked up by 4 p.m.
Prizes will be provided by the city of Mentor, Community Arts Commission and Creative Artists Association.
The annual arts festival will also feature the work of more than 50 local artists, live jazz music, tours of the city's traditional Tudor mansion and face painting for kids.
