City Of Mentor Unemployment Rate Continues To Decrease
The unemployment rate for the City of Mentor decreases 2.9% to 4.3% for the month of October 2020.

The unemployment rate for the City of Mentor decreases 2.9% to 4.3% for the month of October 2020. One year ago, the unemployment rate was 2.7%. In Lake County, the unemployment rate decreases 5.3% as well to 4.7% for the month of October; one year ago, it was 2.9%.

Among cities in Ohio with a population of 50,000 or more, Mentor and Kettering tied for the lowest unemployment rate with 4.3% and Cuyahoga Falls came in second at 4.8% and Lakewood is third with 4.9%. The City’s civilian labor force increased 2,500 from last month to 25,900.
The State of Ohio’s unemployment rate decreases from 8.0% to 5.2% for the month of October.
