Danny Salazar and the Tribe pen beat the Mariners, 4-3
Cleveland Indians, Seattle Mariners, Danny Salazar, Andrew Miller, Cody Allen

The Cleveland Indians beat the Seattle Mariners 4-3 on a miserably cold and windy day at Progressive Field. It was 47 degrees at game time after it rained for much of the morning and early afternoon. It grew colder and the wind changed, blowing in from center field as the game progressed.
The two teams scored all of their runs in the first inning. Seattle started the game with Nelson Cruz blasting a 2-run homer and then Kyle Seager followed with his first homer of the season. The back-to-back, first pitch blasts gave Seattle a 3-0 lead before Cleveland came to bat.
The Tribe came up in the bottom of the first inning and Mariners' starter Yovani Gallardo walked the first two batters that he faced. After getting Michael Brantley to fly out for the first out, he walked Edwin Encarnacion to load the bases.

Ramirez hit .355 (50-141) with runners in scoring position last year. He is currently .316 (6-for-19) so far this season.
After Jason Kipnis struck out, Lonnie Chisenhall hit a ground ball up the middle to score two more runs, putting Cleveland up 4-3.
