The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, this inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for millions. Together, they work to end Alzheimer’s disease, the nation’s sixth-leading cause of death. More than five million Americans have Alzheimer’s disease.
The Cleveland Area Chapter is pleased to announce three Walk events in Northeast Ohio this year:
• Sunday, September 13 at Metroparks Lake Farmpark in Kirtland at 8:00 am (NEW LOCATION!)
o Presented by Lake Health
• Saturday, September 19 at All Pro Freight Stadium in Avon at 8:00 am
o Presented by Kaplan’s Furniture
• Sunday, September 27 at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo in Cleveland at 7:30 am

“There has never been a greater need to join in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease by participating in Walk to End Alzheimer’s,” said Nancy Udelson, President and CEO, Alzheimer’s Association Cleveland Area Chapter. “Funds raised will provide care and support services to the 210,000 residents of Ohio living with Alzheimer’s, while also contributing to advancing critically needed research.”
Since 1989, the Alzheimer’s Association has mobilized millions of Americans in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The end of Alzheimer’s disease starts here. To start or join a team, go to alz.org/walk or call 800.272.3900.
