Love Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to breaking cycles of violence, trauma, crisis, and poverty by empowering women and protecting children. Through our initiative, Project Break the Cycle, we provide immediate support to individuals and families escaping unsafe and unstable environments, including food, clothing, emergency assistance, and access to critical resources that help create a path toward long-term safety and independence. We also operate a Free Community Store in Mentor, where individuals and families can access clothing, household items, and essential necessities at no cost. This resource allows us to meet urgent needs with dignity while supporting families as they rebuild their lives. Serving Lake, Geauga, Cuyahoga, and surrounding communities, Love Foundation is committed to restoring hope, strengthening families, and creating lasting change where it is needed most.

Rain or Shine! Live entertainment all evening Inflatable fun-tivities for children of all ages Corn hole tournament   Dinner served from 5:30-6:30pm. Meal will include roast pork or chicken, side dishes and beverages. Please bring a salad or dessert for the potluck. No advanced ticket sales, free-will donations at the door. We are cooking for 300 people! Spread the word — invite others to join you! This is an opportunity to feed people in body AND soul.

<h2>Love Foundation Seeks Local Businesses &amp; Community Partners for FREE Trunk or Treat</h2>
Love Foundation is inviting local businesses, organizations, families, entertainers, car clubs, motorcycle groups, vendors and food trucks to be part of our 1st Annual FREE Community Trunk or Treat at Mentor High School.
Saturday, October 3, 2026 1:00–4:00 PM Mentor High School
I had originally planned to personally visit local businesses, introduce myself and share more about Love Foundation and this event. Unfortunately, a family emergency came up, and family always comes first. So instead, I am reaching out to our community and asking for your help spreading the word.
Our goal is to bring local businesses and families together while giving children a fun afternoon they can enjoy at no cost.
<h3>Decorated Trunks Needed</h3>
Businesses, families, organizations, car clubs, motorcycle groups and community members are invited to decorate a trunk or vehicle and pass out candy to the children.
All decorated trunks and vehicles must be registered in advance.
<h3>Kid-Friendly Entertainment &amp; Activities Needed</h3>
We are looking for face painters, balloon artists, inflatables, characters, performers, games and other kid-friendly activities. Businesses or entertainers willing to donate their time or services will have an opportunity to interact directly with local families and introduce the community to what they do.
All entertainers and activity providers must register in advance so we know exactly what activities will be available and can properly plan the event.
<h3>Vendors &amp; Food Trucks Welcome</h3>
Vendors may sell products, promote their businesses, distribute information and connect with local families.
Food trucks are also welcome. Food and beverages will be available for purchase during the event.
All vendors and food trucks must be registered in advance.
<h3>Sponsors &amp; Donations Needed</h3>
Trunk or treating is completely FREE for children and families. Donations, sponsorships and donated services help us cover the costs of putting on the event and allow us to continue offering free community events.
<h3>Registration Is Required</h3>
We are keeping track of the number of children, decorated trunks, vendors, food trucks, entertainers and activities so we can properly prepare and make our first year a successful one.
Children, decorated trunks, vendors, food trucks and entertainers must all be registered in advance.
Children will be able to visit decorated trunks and collect candy at no charge. Treat bags will also be available for children who need one while supplies last.
