Children within the Mentor Public School district are invited to participate in this free track meet. Registration happens the day of the race, onsite. All athletes will be divided into boys and girls groups in the following age categories: 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, and 13-14. (Age divisions are based on the participant’s birth date as of June 29, 2011.)
Children may participate in three events; 1 field event, 1 running event and 1 relay. Relay teams can be put together at the meet. Participants must wear tennis shoes. No spikes are permitted.
Winners will get ribbons for first, second and third place. The event winners represent Mentor at the Lake County meet, June 29 in Kirtland, competing against event winners from throughout Lake County.
