Get financial advice during Money Smart Week at Mentor Public Library

Stymied by questions about retirement, savings or debt? Check out Money Smart Week at Mentor Public Library.

Some people, even adults, have no sense of what to do with their dollars.

That’s why Mentor Public Library is hosting a series of programs designed to help people make smart financial decisions. It’s called Money Smart Week and it runs from April 23 through 29.

“Money Smart Week is important because it gives people a chance to learn about different financial topics in a nonthreatening, impartial environment,” said Cailey Williams, the MPL reference librarian who organizes the annual series.

“A lot of the topics we cover are kind of intimidating like debt or retirement, and most people may not feel comfortable asking about them. Having the series at the library gives everyone the chance to hear from an expert on neutral ground, and ask any questions they may have.”

All Money Smart programs will be held at Mentor Library’s Main Branch. They are free to attend, though registration is required.
