Important Changes To City Of Mentor Push Notifications

Over the past five years, the City of Mentor has utilized a push alert feature through the City of Mentor App to notify residents of snow emergencies, road closures, and other important information. Effective April 7, 2021, the City of Mentor will be utilizing the Lake County Emergency Management Agency WENS System for distribution of these alerts.

WENS provides text, voice, and/or email notifications, based on individual preference. Those who register can also customize which alerts they wish to receive from the County – including weather alerts and information from different municipalities. Registration is free and takes less than 60 seconds. All Lake County residents are encouraged to sign up today at www.reverse911signup.info.

The push alert feature on the City of Mentor app will be supported through May 31, 2021.
