Katie Spotz Returning To Mentor For Talk At Mentor Public Library

Mentor native Katie Spotz is the youngest person to row by herself across the Atlantic.
Earlier this year, she and a team of athlete-activists for those who don't have access to clean drinking water. She didn't even .
Now she's coming 7 p.m. Tuesday to to talk about some of her adventures.

Those adventures include ultramarathons in Australia, 325-mile river swims and a run across a desert.
But Spotz doesn't do these challenges just for the physical thrill. She uses them to draw attention to Blue Planet America and other charities that help provide potable water to those who need it.

Spotz's presentation is free to attend. It was funded by the Friends of the Mentor Public Library.
However, the library asks that people register for the event, either on its website or by calling 440-255-8811 ext. 221 or 248.
