Lebron, Kyrie sit as Heat slam the Cavs 120-92

The Cavs rested Lebron James and Kyrie Irving, Miami Heat took advantage and clobbered the Cavs 120-92 Saturday night. The loss trimmed the Cavs' lead over Boston to 2.5 games for first in the Eastern Conference.

The Cavs (42-19) fell to 0-5 this season when James isn't in the lineup.

Channing Frye paced the Cavs with 21 points off the bench. Kyle Korver, making his first start since he was acquired in a trade from Atlanta Jan. 7, added 15 points. Deron Williams scored 10 points with seven assists and five rebounds. Derrick Williams, who was just signed to a deal for the rest of the season with the Cavs Saturday, added 10 points in his return to Miami.

The Heat (29-34) were led by 23 points from Goran Dragic and 20 points and 13 rebounds from Hassan Whiteside.

Iman Shumpert was blasted in the mouth trying to play defense in third quarter. He suffered two chipped teeth and did not return.

This game was largely drama free until the final seconds, when players from both sides did a little shouting back and forth with injured J.R. Smith being restrained off the bench by Cavs security late in the fourth quarter.
