Local Artists Can Submit Artwork for Contest Tomorrow
Artists can enter their work into the Dorothy McNamara Maloney Memorial Art Contest from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday at Mentor Senior Center

Local artists can submit their paintings, photographs and pottery for the .
The artists can bring their work from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday to the . They will need an entrance form and $5 to enter the contest. The show will only be accepting submissions that day.
In addition to the contest, the art may also be accepted into the , which will be on display at the senior center from this Friday until Oct. 5.

The accepted artwork will include watercolor, oils, pastels, acrylics, photographs, drawings and pottery. If an artist is dropping off watercolors, they must be matted and framed under glass.
The artwork must be produced within the last year. The maximum size for artwork will be 30 inches by 30 inches including framing.

Similarly, pottery cannot be larger than 8 inches high and 12 inches wide or deep.
All work must be appropriately mounted and framed.
The art show will kick off with a free reception and awards ceremony Friday at 7 p.m. in the senior center.
