Man Accused Of Driving Drunk With Crack Cocaine In Car
Man was arrested after driving a Mercedes erratically though Mentor, according to police

A Mentor man is accused of driving drunk, as well as having crack cocaine in his car Tuesday evening, Mentor Police Sgt. Michael Kloski said.
Police received a call about a blue-gray Mercedes being driven erratically at 9:30 p.m. on the eastbound lanes of Route 2, Kloski said.
An officer spotted the car after it had exited onto Center Street and saw it repeatedly cross over the median, Kloski said.

The officer stopped the Mercedes after it turned onto Bellflower Road.
The policeman talked to the driver, 38-year-old Roger Westbrook. The officer said Westbrook's words were slow and slurred.

Westbrook refused to take a breathalyzer test, Kloski said, and when police searched the Mercedes they found some crack on the floor of the car.
Westbrook was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and drug possession. He also faces traffic counts of driving across marked lanes and not wearing a seat belt.
He was arraigned Wednesday in . Judge John Trebets set his bond at $15,000, which was posted.
Westbrook's next court hearing is scheduled for April 19.
