March 2021 Unemployment Rate At 4.3% In Mentor
The unemployment rate for the City of Mentor increases 0.4% to 4.3% for the month of March 2021.

The unemployment rate for the City of Mentor increases 0.4% to 4.3% for the month of March 2021. One year ago, the unemployment rate was 5.1%. In Lake County, the unemployment rate increases 0.2% as well to 4.5% for the month of March; one year ago, it was 5.9%.

Among cities in Ohio with a population of 50,000 or more, the City of Mentor’s 4.3% unemployment rate is the lowest and Cleveland Heights has the second lowest rate at 4.6%. Kettering is third with 5.1%, followed by Lakewood and Parma tied for fourth with 5.2%. Columbus is fifth with 5.7%. The City’s civilian labor force increased to 25,500.
The State of Ohio’s unemployment rate decreased 0.7% to 4.9% for the month of March 2021.
