Meet this Week's Whiz Kid: Molly Moyer

• Whiz Kid's Name: Molly Moyer
• Whiz Kid's School: Molly is an eighth-grader at
• Whiz Kid's Accomplishment: Molly organized the first ever  at with the help of some awesome volunteers, including members of her Girl Scout troop.
• Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness: Molly organized the pageant, in part, to earn her silver award for scouting.

But more importantly, she wanted to create an event that celebrated the beauty and abilities of people with disabilities.

Molly has competed in pageants and even qualified for the 2010 Nationals Miss Teen Pageant. She said the experience helped her overcome her shyness and build her confidence.

Molly wanted to give the girls at Broadmoor the same confidence.

Members of Molly's Girl Scout troop -- including Marilyn Moyer, Madeline Moyer and Rosa Gifford -- pitched in by giving the Broadmoor girls makeovers before the pageant.
