The Community Gardens at the City of Mentor’s Wildwood Cultural Center, 7645 Little Mountain Road, is again selling community garden plots for the 2021 growing season.
Becoming part of the Community Gardens is excellent for church groups, boy or girls scout groups, and for individuals who live in an area without land for growing a garden. Registration opens for Mentor residents on March 15, and Nonresidents on March 22. Plots cost $35, for a 20 x 25 plot.

There are organic and non-organic spaces available. In the organic space, only organic pesticides and organic insecticides are permitted. Each gardener is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of their garden plot during the garden season, from April 19th – October 13th. The growing season must commence by June 9th.
