Mentor High School Football Coaches Hosting Youth Camp This Summer

Kids from first through sixth grade have a chance to learn with the Cardinal coaches

Coaches and players from the football team will lead a summer camp for elementary students.

First- through sixth-graders can learn about the game's essentials during the four-day camp that begins June 27 and ends June 30 at Mentor High's stadium and practice field.

A typical day at camp would begin at 9 a.m. with announcements and warmups. Then, the students would receive about 30 minutes each of individual offensive and defensive position instruction. Next, the campers would spend about 30 minutes working on punting, kicking, longsnapping, passing and catching.
