The program will feature charitable law expert Chuck Miller and a discussion about the fundamental components of a planned giving program and the challenges ahead due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Miller has counseled the philanthropic community for more than 30 years beginning as an Ohio Assistant Attorney General. Currently, he serves as senior director for national development at Case Western Reserve University. His responsibilities included implementing nationwide planned giving strategies during a campaign which surpassed its $1.5 billion goal. Miller has received the prestigious Accredited Estate Planner® Designation by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils and was named the 2018 James P. Conway Mentor of the Year awarded by the Northern Ohio Charitable Gift Planners for his "exemplary commitment to improving the art and science of the charitable gift planning process."
