Mentor Public Library: Are Your Desserts The Most Delicious?

We’re hosting an Iron Chef Competition for kids at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 7, at our Lake Branch.

Kids (those entering fourth through eighth grade) will have 30 minutes to craft a scrumptious chocolate dessert with a mystery ingredient that will be revealed at the program. (Out of consideration to those with food allergies, the ingredient will not be peanuts or nuts.) The maker of the most delicious dessert will win a prize.

It’s free to participate in the contest and all supplies will be provided. Registration is required. Young chefs can sign up online or by calling us at (440) 257-2512.
