Kids can enjoy a magic show from Zap Entertainment via Zoom. (You’ll need to RSVP to get the Zoom link.) Once you sign up, kids can pick up their pirate or princess loot bags from our Main Branch. It’s stuffed with stuff that will help them to participate in the festivities.

Summer Reading starts Friday, June 4, at Mentor Public Library! You can sign up at any of our branches. This year’s theme is Imagine Your Story and we’re hosting programs all summer long about fairy tales, myths and magic.

Of course, kids, teens and adults can win spectacular prizes from Mentor Public Library for reading this summer. Kids (those entering sixth grade or younger) can earn a raffle ticket for every hour they read or are read to. The more they read, the better chance they have to win one of the library’s prizes.

Kids who read at least 20 hours during Summer Reading will also earn a golden ticket and a chance to win a $50 gift card to Target.

Meanwhile, teens (those entering seventh grade and older) and adults can earn raffle tickets two ways. First, they can earn a ticket for each book they read. Next, they can earn up to 10 bonus tickets by completing different challenges. Each ticket means a better chance of winning.
