The City of Mentor is seeking general contractors to add to its preferred contractors list for the Single-Family Housing Rehabilitation Program, which is managed by Western Reserve Community Development Corporation.
Contractors must have expertise in housing rehabilitation projects, including but not limited to roof and gutter replacements, removal of architectural barriers for handicapped residents, and ramp construction for improved accessibility. Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Women Business Enterprises (WBE), and Section 3 certified businesses encouraged to participate. Must be licensed, bonded, lead certified, carry liability insurance and workers compensation coverage.
