Mentor Unemployment Rate Drops To 4.3%

The unemployment rate for the City of Mentor decreases 0.5% to 4.3% for the month of November 2020.

The unemployment rate for the City of Mentor decreases 0.5% to 4.3% for the month of November 2020. One year ago, the unemployment rate was 2.7%. In Lake County, the unemployment rate decreases 0.6% as well to 4.7% for the month of November; one year ago, it was 2.9%.

Among cities in Ohio with a population of 50,000 or more, the City of Mentor has the lowest unemployment rate with Cuyahoga Falls and Kettering tied for second at 4.6%. The City of Lakewood is ranked third with 4.9%, followed by Parma at fourth with 5.4%. The City’s civilian labor force decreased to 25,800.

The State of Ohio’s unemployment rate decreases from 5.8% to 5.2% for the month of November.
