We have recently received a number of inquiries related to absentee ballots, early voting, and polling locations in the City of Mentor. The following information is posted for your convenience. We encourage voters to visit the Lake County Board of Elections website with ANY additional questions or concerns.

October 6, 2020: First Day of Mailing Absentee Ballots and First Day of Early Voting at Board of Elections’ Office.

October 31, 2020 – 12:00 p.m.: Deadline to Submit Absentee Ballot Application. *NOTE: Pending Legislation May Alter this Deadline. BOE will provide notice of election changes on this website.

November 2, 2020: Final Day of Early Voting. Hours for early voting are 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. this day. Ballots returned by mail must contain a postmark of November 2, 2020 or earlier.

November 3: Election Day. Polls Open 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. Check your polling location using this tool. Voters still in possession of Absentee Ballot Must Return the Ballot to the Board of Elections’ drop box by 7:30 p.m.
