The Mentor City Council is scheduled to discuss the Plaza Boulevard Extension project, , during its meeting 7 p.m. tonight at City Hall.
The council is scheduled to vote on a land purchase that will allow the city to finish the project by lengthening Plaza Boulevard until it intersects with St. Clair Avenue.
That would give drivers a way to get from Tyler Boulevard to Great Lakes Mall without going through busy Mentor Avenue intersections at Chillicothe Road or Center Street.

According to the legislation, the city would pay $325,000 to Prisa III Legacy LLC for .657 acres.

At the moment, the WRCDC has 77 houses on its waiting list. Most of the remaining CDBG money would go to the Fair House Resource Center and public service agencies like Project Hope and Forbes House.
