Power Out at Brentmoor School, Last Day Canceled
The district will contact parents to make arrangements to pick up students' belongings
Mentor Schools announced Thursday morning that Brentmoor Elementary School would not be open for its final day because of a storm-related power outage.
The district reached out to parents around 7 a.m. with the following message:
"Brentmoor Elementary School is closed today: Thursday, June 13, 2013 due to a power outage. So far there is no estimate as to when power could be restored. We know this is the last day of school, and will contact you later today with further information regarding when you will be able to pick up your child(ren)’s belongings for summer break from Brentmoor if needed."
The school announced no plans to make up the final day.
