• Butler Co. nearly ready to unveil new MetroPark (wosu.org) — A new 168-acre MetroPark called Davidson Woods is nearing completion just southeast of Oxford in Hanover Township, giving residents another nearby place to hike and enjoy Four Mile Creek. MetroParks of Butler County plans to open it this fall with primitive trails, an ADA-accessible path, creek access, and sweeping bluff views where bald eagles are often spotted.
