• Suspect uses fake barcodes to steal $7,000 in TVs from BJ's in Middleburg Heights (cleveland.com) — Middleburg Heights police are investigating two large TV thefts at BJ's Wholesale Club on West 130th Street, where a suspect allegedly used fake barcodes to pay a fraction of the price. Using store security video and a membership card, officers have identified a Seven Hills man also tied to a similar incident in Michigan.
   

• Wanted women busted at hotels in Middleburg Heights: Middleburg Heights police blotter (cleveland.com) — Recent Middleburg Heights police calls included several arrests of wanted suspects at local hotels on Engle and Bagley roads, plus thefts at Marc's in Southland and The Islander apartments. Residents may notice increased police presence around these locations as officers respond to warrant arrests, shoplifting, and a stolen license plate case.
