• Man with felony record busted in Middleburg Heights after police find him in car with loaded handgun (cleveland.com) — Middleburg Heights police pulled over a Chrysler 300 on the I-71 northbound ramp from Bagley Road for an expired registration and found a loaded handgun in a diaper bag accessible to a passenger with a felony record. The Painesville man, previously convicted of violent and firearm-related offenses, now faces possible new charges while the driver was cited for the expired sticker.
   

• Wanted woman sharing marijuana with two men arrested outside Motel 6 in Middleburg Heights (cleveland.com) — Middleburg Heights police recently cited three Parma residents for marijuana possession after spotting them sharing a joint in a parked SUV outside the Motel 6 on Engle Road. Officers discovered the woman was wanted in Parma for unpaid taxes, seized marijuana and paraphernalia, and advised her to turn herself in after Parma police declined to pick her up.
   

• Wanted woman with handgun cited; man steals beef tenderloins from BJ's: Middleburg Heights police blotter (cleveland.com) — Middleburg Heights officers handled several recent cases, including citing a Maple Heights driver on Bagley Road and I-71 for a suspended license while an unloaded handgun sat under her seat. Police also investigated a repeat beef tenderloin theft at BJ's on West 130th and cited a Cleveland man for improper marijuana transportation on Engle Road.
