• Cleveland woman attempts to use fake $100 bill to buy rabbits in Middleburg Heights (cleveland.com) — Police say a Cleveland woman was banned from RMS Aquaculture on Engle Road in Middleburg Heights after allegedly trying to pay for two rabbits with a counterfeit $100 bill. Staff used a detector pen, kept the real money, returned the fake bill, and helped officers identify the woman through security video and her license plate.
   

• Wanted woman yells at people outside Halloween store; wanted man steals steaks: Middleburg Heights police blotter (cleveland.com) — Recent police calls in Middleburg Heights included a wanted woman causing a disturbance outside the Spirit Halloween on Pearl Road and a wanted man caught stealing steaks at BJ's on West 130th. Officers also handled a trespassing case at a Rosbough Drive hotel and a stolen license plate incident tied to Audi Middleburg Heights.
   

• Drunk, twirling man arrested outside GetGo in Brook Park (cleveland.com) — A Middleburg Heights man was arrested after officers found him intoxicated, stumbling and twirling outside the GetGo on Snow Road in neighboring Brook Park. Police had been called about a man running in the street and determined he was too impaired to care for himself, ultimately confiscating and dumping his whiskey and rum.
