Berea Ranked one of the Best Suburbs for Young Professionals

BEREA, OH — Berea is one of the best Cleveland suburbs for Millennials, according to a new study from Movoto, a real estate listing website.

Whether or not that's something worth celebrating is probably based on your own personal opinions regarding the recent college graduates.

To determine their rankings, Movoto analyzed Cleveland suburbs for the following criteria: Percent of residents age 22-29, percent of residents with a bachelor's degree, median earnings for residents with a bachelor's degree, percent of residents working in management, business and finance and the cost of living.

The variables were all given a different weight to calculate an overall score. Percent of residents 22-29 was worth 35 percent of the score, amenities per capita was worth 35 percent, professional opportunity was worth 20 percent and cost of living was worth 10 percent, according to Movoto.

With an overall score of 2.75, Berea was ranked the fourth best Cleveland suburb for young professionals.
