Tierra Bryant: Arrest Made 2 Year's After Disappearance

A 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection to the missing persons case.

MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, OH — An arrest has been made in the 2015 disappearance of Tierra Bryant, 19, who was last seen near a Motel 6 in Middleburg Heights. The suspect, Rashad Hunt, 39, was arrested in Sacramento, California on Tuesday.

Hunt is expected to be moved back to Ohio where he will be charged with Bryant's murder, Channel 5 reports. Middleburg Heights Police worked with the Cleveland Division of the FBI and Sacramento Police to catch Hunt.

In March 2015, Bryant went missing. She was last spotted on Bagley Road. Before going missing she sent a mysterious text message to friend, Channel 3 reports. "Ok we still on our way to the room he being weird." Bryant's friend then went to her room, but the 19-year-old was gone.

Bryant was a 2013 graduate of Shaker Heights High School.
