Women's Self Defense Class To Be Held In Berea

The $25 session will teach simple but effect self-protection tactics.

BEREA, OH — Women, ages 16 and up, in Berea can take a self-defense class that will teach easy to master skills. Taught by Korean American Martial Arts, the program is $25 per person. The event will be held Aug. 19 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The Berea Recreation Center will house the event. Participants will learn simple but effective self-defense tactics, as well as situational awareness.

A flier for the event promises to teach attendees how to avoid being hit, defending yourself in the quickest, most efficient way, targeting an opponent's weak points and using nearby objects as weapons.
