• Free family photo sessions planned at Tuscarawas County Library (yourohionews.com) — Families in New Philadelphia can sign up Sept. 9 for free, 15-minute photo sessions at the Main Library on Sept. 12, receiving digital images and Polaroids at no cost. Registration opens at 10 a.m., and spots are limited, so residents are encouraged to reserve quickly online or by phone.
• Update: Baby Expected to Recover After I-77 Rollover Crash (wjer.com) — A rollover crash on I-77 just south of New Philadelphia Tuesday morning threw a two-month-old from a vehicle, but the baby is expected to recover after treatment at Akron Children's Hospital. Two adult relatives from the Cleveland area suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and troopers briefly shut down northbound I-77 while issuing multiple child safety-related citations.
