Smash-and-Grab Burglary; Underage Party Busted: Crime Blotter

Smash and grab
A burglary was reported in the 1600 block of Halifax Way SE on July 5 at 6:19 a.m.
According to the North Canton police report, someone kicked in the back door of the residence, grabbed $60 in cash and fled.
The loss was relatively minor, but the estimated $1,000 in damage and the crime itself were probably a little harder to swallow.
Anger management
Police were called to the 1600 block of Ambler Avenue SW July 5 and found a 16-year-old girl had assaulted her mother, according to a police report.
She was arrested and charged with domestic violence, a first-degree misdemeanor.
Grounded for life
Eighteen teenagers were arrested at 413 East Maple St. on July 3 for consuming alcohol at an underage party.
The teens were all charged with alcohol abuse, a first-degree misdemeanor.
