20 New Jobs Coming to Hoover District

Myers Controlled Power announced today it plans to hire 20 people after hosting a job fair at 8:30 a.m. Friday

Myers Controlled Power — the first company to move into the Hoover District after the Hoover Company left — announced today that it immediately.

The company manufactures circuit breakers that help run subways, trolleys and other types of transportation, said Executive Vice President Richard Sanchez. The transportation industry is growing, and so is Myers Controlled Power, he said.
