24/7 Blues,
a photography show of work by Michael Barath opens May 17th at
Journey Art Gallery. The artist will be present for the opening night from
6-9pm. In addition to framed photographs, Michael is putting together a slide
show of his work featuring music by his brother, a blues musician in
Pittsburgh. The gallery plans to run this slide show 24/7 through the Blues
Fest, June 21st.
Michael
Barath is a local photographer from Canton who shoots performances, events, and
portraits. He teaches photography at Stark State College, and loves his
enthusiastic, talented students. His favorite models are his wife Deby, three
Golden Retrievers, and two grandkids: Ayden, an emerging photographer, and
Hannah, a talented videographer.
