This North Canton resident helps students at Malone University develop skills for finding a job and encourages graduates to stay in the area

Ever met Doug Reichenberger? Read on to discover five things about him you may not have known.

1. Reichenberger is the director of career development at Malone University.Β 

Those attending Malone can get advice and help with interview techniques, resume development and other career search methods from him.Β β€œWe’re really about training students to gain skills for job placement,” said Reichenberger β€œSkills which will be needed time and time again.”

2. He not only wants to prepare students to develop their career search skills, but he also wants to help students find jobs within the area.

Reichenberger is doing this by teaming up with ystark! through the fellowship program.Β β€œThis program is to help local graduates stay in the area. Graduates will stay here if we have the jobs.”

3. From internships to choosing a major, Reichenberger helped several graduates with their career paths by working on their resumes and developing strategies for scouting potential positions.

4. Reichenberger came to North Canton from Iowa.

5. He got his bachelor’s degree from Southwest Baptist University in church recreation and got his Master of Education degree at the University of Missouri-Columbia with a focus on educational and counseling psychology.
